Privacy Policy

We don't want your data. This Privacy Policy explains what little we do collect, why, and what your options are. It applies to any website, game, application, tool, extension, or other service operated by ZingLab, whether under the ZingLab name or a separate product brand or domain, including all free and paid offerings and any future or derivative product (collectively, the "Services"), except where a specific Service posts its own separate privacy policy — in which case that policy governs the information practices unique to that Service, and this policy continues to apply to anything it doesn't cover.

1. What We Collect

We keep collection to the minimum needed to run each Service:

  • Information you give us directly: if you email us, apply for a job, sign up for an account, or fill out a form, we receive whatever you choose to include (e.g., your name and email address).
  • Purchase information: for paid Services, payment is handled by a third-party payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card number; we may receive limited transaction details such as the purchase amount and a confirmation ID.
  • Usage and gameplay data: some Services store local progress, scores, or preferences (often in your browser's local storage or a cloud save tied to your account) so the Service works the way it's supposed to.
  • Anonymous usage statistics: we use Google Analytics, and possibly similar tools for future Services, to understand aggregate traffic and usage patterns. We do not use this to build individual profiles, and we can't speak for Google's own data practices — see Google's privacy policy for details on what Analytics itself collects.

We do not use tracking pixels, and we do not sell or scrape third-party data about you.

2. Cookies and Local Storage

Some Services use cookies or browser local storage for essential functionality (such as remembering a login session or game progress) and for analytics as described above. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect functionality like saved progress or preferences on some Services.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to operate, maintain, and improve the Services; process purchases and licenses; respond to inquiries and job applications; and understand aggregate usage so we can prioritize what to build next. We do not use your information for targeted advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only with: service providers who help us operate a Service (such as a hosting provider, payment processor, or Google Analytics), acting solely on our behalf; when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of ZingLab or others; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy continuing to apply to previously collected information. We do not otherwise sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

Some Services link out to third-party sites, storefronts, or platforms (such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or app marketplaces). Those third parties have their own privacy practices, which we don't control.

5. Children's Privacy

Our games and tools are intended for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

6. Data Retention and Security

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, or as required by law. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. Since we collect very little to begin with, most requests are simple to fulfill. To exercise any of these rights, email us using the contact information below and we'll respond promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time as our Services evolve. Changes are effective immediately upon posting, and continued use of a Service after a change is posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
